Our Ministries

At the present time the work of the church of Christ that meets in Columbus is organized into several ministry committees to better serve our congregation and our goals to reach out to our community.  We are seeking an environment that is more suited to transform our lives into focused Christ-centered disciples.

Outreach:   Our outreach ministry committee is headed by Dan Wallin and comprised of several members that are challenged with the task of planning, organizing and implementing our outreach into the Columbus area.

Fellowship Ministry:     Ralph Carleo is leading up our fellowship ministry committee.  Its purpose is to encourage one another in fellowship and become more spiritually focused. Organized fellowship activities will be aimed at building relationships in our community and help lead us to more people who need Christ in their lives.

Worship & Prayer Ministry:     Roger Deal will be heading the worship and prayer ministry committee. Its goals are to help us develop a more active worship environment and a more understandable experience and a more reliant prayer life. We will be developing a specific prayer room at our facility to encourage more corporate and private prayer.

Follow-up Study:  Lee Rottman will be organizing and leading several teams charged with fulfilling the third commandment of the great commission of Matthew 28:18-20, that is, to teach new members the basic tenants of studying the Bible, the major doctrines of the Bible and the practical incorporation of a Christ centered life, committed to Jesus Christ.  Emphasis on building a prayer life and developing a fellowship habit will also be incorporated.
